& Dental Insurance
The harsh reality of Dental Insurance is that it is far from what we are all accustomed to with Medical Insurance. Many patients are not aware that Dental Insurance premiums increase annually, yet annual limits of coverage do not change. In fact, in many cases the annual coverage limit is the same as it was 50 years ago. Insurance companies collect more and more money, while the patient’s benefits decline in value each year. Reimbursement rates remain low despite ongoing inflation; therefore, insurance based offices have to increase their patient volume and sacrifice patient care.

For patients with dental insurance, we are happy to submit a claim form as a courtesy for out of network reimbursement. The claim is submitted and you receive a check in the mail for the coverage specific to your plan. Upon scheduling, our Director of Operations is always able to explain what to expect and answer any questions about how this reimbursement process works.
